Two cameras are better than one!

Aug 11, 2017

Why it’s a good idea to have an assistant come with your photographer:  How paying just a bit more can drastically improve the quality of your photos.

When you think of a wedding photographer do you just think of one person?  Do you desire a flawless wedding album filled with every shot and angle imaginable?  This is something that cannot be done by one photographer alone.

Why?  Because as a wedding photographer with Aris Affairs Photography, I can tell you that as much as I want to, I cannot magically split into two people who can be at each end of the isle and capture both the bride and the groom at the same time.  I cannot look at every adult in a big family photo and also pay attention to little kids who are moving and refuse to stand still for a picture.  I can’t be in two or even three places and once.

If you are looking for a correct documentation of your wedding day and want to be able to look at the moments you missed while getting ready or waiting to walk down the isle.  Or you want to see what each other were up to as you both got ready.  You need more than one photographer.

If you want flawless wedding portraits and want pictures of your tables at the reception and pictures of your guests at the cocktail hour you need two photographers and an assistant.

A Wedding Photographer can really keep the day on track and if they have help things will go even more smoothly for everyone.  Often times your wedding photographer will be doing things behind the scene that no one even noes about.  Over the years I have fixed hair, countless bouquets, applied make up, calmed brides, made sure the couple had water and something to eat, helped give advice with properly putting on dresses, helped clean up the bride after the cake cutting and cut the cake myself.   There are so many other moments that I could go on and on.

It is important to have a good photographer, but, a great photographer with a great team is even better!  Call Aris Affairs Photography today to talk to Trish about your wedding and how her team can help you on your wedding day! Call 928-642-4049
