When you’re preparing to give birth and feel the need to capture all of your special moments before and after baby is here it is important to find the right person to be your birth photographer.  Personally I think that it helps if they have been at a live birth or two before they say yes.  You can have a friend come with there camera, but if you are expecting them to assist you in the birthing process you may want to remember that they will be more focused on you than capturing your special moments.  

Remember that each person that you invite into your birthing room will bring with them a different energy.  You want to make sure that it is the right energy for your best birth.  Hiring a professional birth photographer may be the way to go, however, make sure that you really feel comfortable with them.
