When you purchase a new piece of equipment for your job, it’s such an exciting thing! I just got a new camera this past month and man, it is a beautiful, complicated, intriguing piece of equipment!
There are settings on this new camera that helps me in so many ways! There is one little button called the bracketing button. It allows me to take multiple photographs by pressing the button once while only taking one photograph! By snapping two or three more photographs on the bracketing button, it helps compensate for shadows and highlights. I’m used to bracketing on an analog film camera, so when I hop in the darkroom I have a variety of low to high contrasted photographs to chose from. I’m thrilled to have functions on my new camera that are similar to my film camera. Even though I’m a junkie for my film camera, I can see myself getting along with my newfound friend.
I took an outing over this past weekend to snap some photographs of my friends family. It hummed like a bird every click was beautiful. It makes such a difference to have a piece of equipment that functions correctly and wants to work with you to produce the best images you can produce! This is one of the photographs, enjoy!
