― Lao Tzu Driving down a narrow winding road through the desert when the appearance of tall trees begins as I round another bend in the road. I am in love with the surrounding that this small Micro Wedding has lead me to. I was heading to Page Springs Fish Hatchery. It is a beautiful place nestled among wineries and a bird sanctuary. There you can also have a look at some of the biggest fish that have been caught in the lakes of Arizona from as far back as the 60’s.
This is how this particular micro wedding day began. It was wonderful! I think when a bride and groom create their wedding day like this they take all of the stress out of a wedding. This particular couple decided to check out the winery right across the street before heading over to the hatchery to get married. They were calm and relaxed and were met by their parents and close friend, who was also acting as their officiate.
The Ceremony was short and sweet and we managed to take some beautiful shots in just over an hour. Talk about hassle free and to the point! It was romantic and special and yet very laid back. I must say that it was a little strange not having more to take pictures of. It was a much different pace then that of a normal wedding, it was wonderful. I can’t wait to shoot the next micro wedding and see where it leads us.
