Do you need pictures but don’t want to spend the time and or money paying someone? Being a mother, I completely understand. Here are a few things you can do to get some great pictures at home. So get creative! Take your camera…or your really high end smart phone, and start snapping.
Keep them happy – You can use your kids toys or blankets for props. This way they can have fun and you can capture some great shots.
Let there be Light – think about light. You will need a good light source to get your shots. Be it the sun or an extra lamp, it’s good to think ahead. Natural light by a window is wonderful.
In the Mood! – Kids often are the best when they’ve had a good rest so it might be good to take pictures in the morning or in the afternoon after a good nap.
Ready for my close-up! – Think about all kinds of different angles. High, Low, close up and far away. Experiment with your pictures.
Have fun! – If you have fun, so will your kids!
-Happy Pictures taking 🙂
